Why I Built
Before I Go
A close friend of mine died suddenly. He was a highly skilled professional and everyone assumed he had things in order however he had left no will and no record of where anything was. When he was gone, his family was left searching: for documents, for passwords, for answers only he could have given. Their grief was hard enough. The confusion made it worse.
I've spent much of my life sitting with people through hard passages. I co-founded the ManKind Project Australia and led it for 25 years — a quarter of a century walking alongside people through grief, change and loss. And in all that time I kept seeing the same thing: it's rarely the big decisions that overwhelm a grieving family.
It's the small, unanswered ones.
So I built Before I Go — the tool I wish my friend had had back then. I've built it personally and I stay close to every part of it, with one question always in mind: will this make things easier for the people left behind?

What Happens When The Time Comes
You decide who. You decide what they see and BIG makes sure it reaches them.
This is the question that matters most and BIG is built to ensure we answer it.
While you're alive, your vault is yours alone. You decide who may one day have access — a partner, a child, someone you trust by nominating them in advance.
When the time comes that nominated person can request access. You're protected the whole way: there's a secure waiting period before any access is granted, so nothing can ever happen without the proper checks. Once access is granted, your nominated person can view the information you have left for them — clearly and calmly, discovering exactly where to find everything — using their own secure login.
Your vault won't disappear if a payment lapses. If a subscription isn't renewed, your information is kept safe for a full 12 months — so your family is never locked out at the very moment they need it most.
